What is it?
PRP is an established form of injection therapy used to stimulate hair regrowth as well as improve hair thickness,

What’s the process?
The technique comprises of withdrawing a small volume of the patient's own blood, and processing it in order to extract the concentrated platelet-rich plasma which will be injected into the areas of the scalp that require hair regrowth. The entire procedure is quite short, lasting no more than 30 minutes once the blood has been processed. You’ll also be glad to know it’s relatively low pain, albeit an interesting sensation.
What about results?
Generally an initial 3 treatments, one month apart, are advised, and results start to become visible at 2-3 months post initial treatment or sooner - with continuous gradual improvement over the following 6-12 months. On average, current evidence shows that most people experience a 34% increase in hair growth and 46% increase in hair density within the targeted area(s).**
Is it safe?
Because the treatment is carried out using the patient own’s blood plasma, PRP remains one of the safest and most natural hair replacement treatments available - with minimal risk of allergic response or disease transmission.
